I have a warm, inviting, knowing voice much more mature than my actual age. I have a slow, methodical cadence with attention to detail and reverent, thoughtful mannerism. My voice is often used for reading stories on tape to elderly, disabled or children due to its enchanting, natural tone and welcoming, enveloping style. I have used my voice, in many instanced, on stage in musicals and plays for non-profit organizations, because of my diction and strength while in character. I will either make you cower from the power of my voice or warm your heart with the telling of my stories.

I worked on a few projects recently with New Play Project. I played the part of a Giant, even though I am only 5' 9" (because of the power of my voice), in a musical called "The Bent Sword", in which I sang the Baritone part of Sir. Mammoth.
Throughout these years I have offered my voice to put books to tape for Elderly, Disabled or children. I have donated tapes to various shelters, group and elderly homes, hospitals and needy families in need of warm comforting stories read in an inviting voice.
While in High School, I served in the Drama Department and participated in many plays. My first major part was in LES MISÉRABLES as Jean Valjean. I auditioned using the song "Empty Chairs and Empty Tables" so that I could try for the part of Marius. My strong voice and diction got me the leading role instead. I favored the song "Bring Him Home" because it used my strong and clear voice for a more warm and tender message so it covered my abilities and nature.
I later sang in Rigoletto and I got the part that I had auditioned for, Mr. Ribaldi / Rigoletto. The Latin was difficult to read at first, being so young, but I was able to pick it up and read through my parts and eased well into the part. I even walked with a limp for a week or two after the show was over, because I was still somewhat in character still. The warm, inviting man with knowing eyes and pleasant smile was more like me so it was easy to take on his mannerisms and be the old cursed man even though I was only in high school.
I was able to get other parts in school throughout, but the smaller parts carried no importance other than that I had the opportunity to project my voice over the crowd drawing them into my part of the story. In High School I also sang in the High School Choir as well as the audition choir called the Madrigal Singers were there were only 4 spots for each section. We sang in many locations for the year I was in the choir, but in the second semester I was the only Base/Baritone that stayed. Our group still received high compliments in District Solo and Ensemble Festival and the Adjudicator noted that our group of 9 carried the weight of 50 members and the base section had great diction and projected well. I was at that time the only Base/Baritone.
