My default accent and voice for voice over and business work is a high baritone / mellow tenor, with a flat Midwestern accent, clear and smooth. For more animated jobs (audiobooks in particular, as well as character work) I enjoy using a wide variety of accents and pitches. It is also fairly natural for me to "lapse" into a more "drawl" accent, drawing from my years growing up on Indiana farm and living and working in North Carolina; this is perfect for some audio work as well.

I host a radio show on WCOM-FM, doing both cold (and live!) readings of station announcements and prepared interviews and commentary on books, movies, music, etc. I've also recorded short stories for children (The Story of Ferdinand, The Prince and the Pauper, etc.) as well as some other podcast work. I have also done radioplay work for Baen Books and previously have acted for the stage. I also am frequently asked to host book readings and moderate discussions.
